What is a Citation Manager?
A citation manager is software developed to help record, store and manipulate bibliographic information (references). Some of the most popular managers are RefWorks, EndNote, Mendeley and Zotero.
Several citation managers are available for free, while others require the purchase of software packages or charge users a subscription fee. This guide focuses on those that are free and RefWorks, which Southern Miss students, faculty and staff can access through the Libraries' supscription.
Use the tabs above to find more information about RefWorks, Mendeley, Zotero, and citation generators.
